Metso Minerals is a multinational company that specialize in rock and minerals processing and metal recycling, require immediately a qualified candidate for the below position which is based on Surabaya Workshop.
1. PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEER, MILL LINING SOLUTIONS
LOCATION :
Prefer to be based at PT. Metso Minerals Indonesia in Surabaya & will consider another location in Indonesia.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Responsibilities:
- Consult and advise the Customer for best product
- Regular site visits to mine sites in Indonesia to provide, assistance and supervision for Relines,
- Carry out Mill Lining Inspections followed by Wear Reports.
- Check customer’s Mill Lining Stock/Inventory levels regularly followed by feedback to Mill Lining Product Manager to quote recommended parts to be re-ordered by the customer
- Provide Technical Support to Mill Lining Customers
- Keeps close contact with Mill Lining Manufacturing facilities to ensure that the Mill Lining Orders scheduled and delivered in timely manner.
- Liaise with Product Manager in Australia
Other Responsibilities:
- Helps Screening Media & Conveyor Solutions Product Lines for the Sites with Mill Lining Business
- Helps other workshop activities or duties when not occupied with above specialized work.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Male or Female
- Engineer Background with 3 - 5 years experiences in Mining (Experience in Mill Liner Desirable)
- Fluent in both Indonesian and English language
- Computer literates (MS office, SAP).
- Good interpersonal qualifications and communication skills
- Willing to travel on site and work in flexible hours, and willing to travel in Australia
2. SAFETY MANAGER
LOCATION : Surabaya
JOB STATEMENT
- The position of Safety Advisor works closely with all people within Metso to ensure its.employees, partners and customers
- strive towards and achieve a safe and injury free workplace. The position is also concerned with design, maintenance and
- implementation of PT. Metso Minerals Indonesia Health, Safety and Environment Systems and associated programs,
- ensuring that these systems and programs meet National and International Standards.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a leader in health, safety and environment, and continually improve Metso’s HSE culture
- Develop, Implement and Maintain an HSE system that complies with local and international standards
- Assist in the coordination of external HSE audits as required
- Provide advice and guidance to management, employees, contractors and visitors regarding HSE including but not limited to advice on relevant legislation, standards and internal requirements.
- Be aware of and informed of any amendments to legislation or standards pertaining to occupational health and safety and environment and communicate these promptly to management.
- Maintain statistical records relative to occupational health and safety and environment for reporting as required
- Manage onsite HSE communications in concert with site management and the National Safety Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Understanding occupational health and safety and environment legislation.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to travel to sites (either Mine Sites or Contractors Site) and Australia
Desirable
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Mine site experience.

- Good computer skills – MS Office applications and Lotus Notes,

- Protective Equipment would be required. Additionally regular travel both locally, interstate and occasionally internationally would be required.
